Our concept for Ode was to create a strong, linear form, utilizing proportions of the classical buildings of Toorak, yet interpreting them in a contemporary way. The materiality of the exterior is simple, with layers of texture created by stack bond bands of white brick.
This restrained palette is continued throughout the interiors of the seven apartments, with a monumental limestone island bench the feature of each kitchen.
