This previously vacant tenancy has shed it’s existing layers to reveal a rich and colourful fabric which has been celebrated throughout the design. Corrugated cladding, louvred windows and raw timbers are reminiscent of an old garden shed, playing on the idea of nostalgia.
A re-purposed old timber door transports you to the playful back garden. Out there a framework of painted pink scaffolding creates intimate pockets behind a backdrop of brightly painted shipping containers and fabric shading which helps soften the space.
Rustic materials compliment the exposed brick walls and stripped back layers of paint that were revealed in the demolition of the existing building. Paired with custom metal work waiter’s stations, refined lighting and terrazzo table tops the interior is a welcoming combination of old and new.
